Beneast work in partnership with other organisations such as schools, police, voluntary groups and helplines to ensure that we listen to our learners and we have a “Learner Voice” strategy which aims to keep our learners safe and support them to make the right choices to meet the Every Child Matters framework.
Beneast ensure that their staff are experienced and well qualified and that they continue to update their skills and knowledge in order to support learners in enjoying and achieving their qualifications. We support learners in finding employment to make a positive contribution to their community and achieve a sense of achievement and well being.
Beneast has activities which link into the Every Child Matters framework throughout the year and our learners are involved in a number of community and in house activities such as “Keep Safe” and “Clean up our Coast”, “Race for Life”, “Healthy Eating” . These activities help to raise learners’ awareness of health and safety related issues.
We have a clear Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct which helps our learners, employers and staff to have an awareness and understand issues around ensuring our learners feel safe.
