Train more,Gain more

In these challenging times, businesses need to keep a tight rein on costs, yet research has shown that businesses that do not train their workforces are twice as likely to fail as those that do.

Train to Gain provides impartial, independent skills advice – at no cost to your business. It’s an investment in the future of your business and your people.

Employers training staff through Train to Gain have seen improvements in employee selfconfidence (80%) and in jobrelated skills and performance (74%).

Benefits

  • 100% funding available
  • Companies see their employees’ skills driven upwards, at little or no cost to them.
  • Training is a proven way to increase productivity and motivation, and to retain staff. With Train to Gain aimed at older employees – any age over 19 – the programme allows employers to capitalise on the potential of their existing workforce.
  • Skill shortages are highlighted as a major reason why businesses in the UK are not as competitive as they might be. (Skills in the UK: The long-term challenge, Leitch Interim Report 2005). Train to Gain addresses this, while also answering questions over funding and appropriate programmes which are often obstacles to training.
