Bespoke Training

Working with local employers, we have developed a range of training programmes to meet the specific needs of businesses. These include National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs), short courses such as Health & Safety and Food Hygiene or bespoke commercial courses written to meet your needs.

 

NVQs

NVQs are designed around the skills people use at work and meet standards set by national employer-led organisations. NVQs can be taken in a range of occupations, from NVQ Level 1 up to NVQ Level 5.

 

Commercial Training

We offer a diverse range of training programmes to drive up your workforce skills and boost employee confidence. Programmes include Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Information Technology. Beneast also offers specialist training supported by the awarding bodies like British Institute of Innkeeping, enabling us to offer awards in Door Supervision, Professional Barperson and the National Licence Certificate.

 

Management

National and local employers are constantly developing people into supervisor roles. Beneast offers qualifications which provide a professional qualification in Team Leading and Management. This gives your organisation access to specialists in motivating teams, resolving customer service problems, monitoring progress to name a few.

 

Apprenticeships and Pre-Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships equip organisations with more competent and better-trained young people. Beneast is one of the top Apprenticeship training providers in Lancashire and has a pool of quality, motivated young people who can make a difference to your business.

 

Apprenticeships allow the learner to effectively learn on the job and are therefore also ideal if you have staff who are already working but have few or no qualifications. This training allows them to work more productively and gives them better confidence and motivation to work.

 

We strive to give all our Apprentices the support they need to succeed, from pre-Apprenticeship Level 1 provision to Advanced Apprenticeship, ensuring they become a great asset to your business.

 

Adult Training

Beneast works extensively with adults to help them gain new skills through workplace training, helping them make the transition back into work successfully. The training is funded and enhances skills in areas such as IT and Health & Safety. Employers’ benefit by offering placements to motivated adults, many of whom become valuable employees.

 

Train to Gain

This is a government initiative designed to help businesses get the training they need to succeed. If your employees are aged 19 or over and have less than 5 GCSEs at Grades A-C. There is full funding for training and assessment for a first full Level 2 qualification. Other subsidies are available for second Level 2, Level 3 or 4 qualifications.

 

Skills for Life

We can only succeed in a rapidly changing world and create a society in which everyone has the opportunity to realise their full potential if we invest in our nations skills. Research consistently shows that a skilled workforce is a productive workforce, better able to respond to the challenges and opportunities posed by greater competition and the economy. By supporting adults to improve their skills it offers them the opportunity to change their lives. Numeracy & Literacy courses are all funded so there is no cost to employers.

 

Courses are available at all levels and we aim to ensure all learners are engaged on a level appropriate to them.

E2e, or Entry to Employment

is a free programme of learning aimed at 16-18 year olds who are not in education, training or employment. The programme is dynamic, and tailor-made for the individual, their interests, needs and aspirations. It comprises of three strands; basic and key skills, vocational training and social and personal skills. Students are taught as adults on a one-to-one basis, or in small groups. It’s not at all like school, and no two e2e experiences are the same.
