People are an organisation’s most important resource.
So it makes good business sense to ensure that you invest in
their skills. Employers who train their staff benefit from increased
efficiency, better customer satisfaction, improved motivation,
higher staff retention and lower costs – all leading to
greater profitability.
Beneast’s experienced team of tutors and advisers, equipped
with years of industry experience, will work with you to identify
your specific training needs and agree the way forward. This
could involve recruiting apprentices from our pool of talented
young people, or developing bespoke training programmes to address
specific skills gaps in your business.
Our track record of working with employers large and small
has been built on our reputation for forging long-term relationships
with our clients. We pride ourselves on adding value to our clients’ businesses,
providing advice and guidance on all aspects of training and
development, delivering proactive, considered training to help
you tackle your workforce development challenges and bringing
new initiatives and opportunities to your attention.
Beneast, as the largest independent training provider in the
area with over 20 years’ experience, has worked with its
clients to develop a broad range of programmes to meet their
diverse and changing needs.
These encompass basic literacy and numeracy courses, apprenticeships,
advanced apprenticeships, NVQs and Train to Gain, plus an extensive
choice of commercial courses, including short off-the-shelf packages,
industry-specific courses geared to qualifications, and bespoke
training.
Beneast are entirely conversant with the many funding schemes
and their various conditions. Our clients know they can depend
on us to advise on the full range of training courses available,
their suitability for the employer’s needs and the funding
they attract. We source and access all suitable funding on behalf
of our clients.
Beneast has worked with hundreds of local employers to engage
them in and help them influence the direction of the education
agenda in Lancashire. We understand that young people need skills
and knowledge, not only for their own fulfilment, but also for
the future competitiveness of employers. Our work in education
reflects our commitment to this goal, and the ongoing consultation
we undertake with businesses.
Beneast has excellent links with schools and FE colleges across
the Fylde, and is committed to the 14-19 agenda, improving the
basic, employability and personal skills of young people. Beneast
works with all post-16 schools across the Fylde to offer NVQs
at Level 1 and 2, and for 14-16 year olds we deliver the Increased
Flexibility programme, which offers enhanced, work-related opportunities,
including GCSEs in vocational subjects.
Increasingly, employers and schools are aware of the importance
of strong reciprocal links to bring a business focus to the curriculum.
Lancashire’s Education Business Partnership (EBP) plays
a key rôle in making that happen, and Beneast fully supports
this work, with our managing director now Chair of the EBP board.
If you’d like to boost the skills of
your staff through training and development, or recruit your
workforce of tomorrow through the apprenticeship programme, please
