Operational Areas

Beneast offers Apprenticeships in the following occupational areas.

• Catering & Hospitality, with different apprenticeships available in Catering, where the emphasis is on food preparation, and in Hospitality, where the onus is on reception, bar-work and housekeeping.

• Customer Service, where apprentices look to work in retail, leisure, hotels and the service industries.

• Retail, which apprenticeships can be based everywhere from small independent shops to big name supermarkets. Apprenticeships also embrace opportunities in Warehousing and Distribution.

• Management, with Management and Team Leading apprenticeships taking place in almost any commercial surroundings. Our apprentices can also work towards the Chartered Management Institute Certificate in Management.

• IT User, again with a wide application across the public and private sector, although some motivated apprentices may be looking to develop their skills in IT industries, such as website design.

• Business Administration, with a wide application across all market sectors.

• Health & Social Care, with a particular focus on caring for the elderly and infirm.

• Early Years & Childcare Development, where apprenticeships are usually taken up in nurseries or other day-care centres for pre-school children.
